This is a stunning tent in a bell tent design, but it's not heavy cotton canvas, so it's easier and lighter to carry and transport.
It goes up like a normal bell tent initially, you peg out the goundsheet, then walk into the tent with the centre pole, but there are additional rib poles and that give the tent the distinctive teardrop shape. They are really easy to slot into place inside around the perimeter of the tent.
Once the ribs are in place, you then just guy it out, making sure you pull the guys out enough to create the bowed appearance of the sides.
With it having high sides that are rounded out, we found there's actually more usable space inside this 4m tent than inside our 5m traditional bell tent (you loose a lot of space due to sloping sides in a traditional bell tent).
It takes about 20 minutes to put up, but is really simple and straight forward.
It's a beautiful tent and it's in excellent condition. Please help us keep it that way!
